Zeekr 7X opens for order in the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway: the manufacturer's own launch figures

Zeekr opened orders for the 7X, a five-seat electric SUV, in the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway on December 16, 2024, with first customer deliveries expected in summer 2025. The figures below all come from the manufacturer's own launch release of that date and apply to those three markets; they are not figures we have measured, and the headline range claim carries a caveat from Zeekr itself.

The three launch prices

Zeekr named a starting price per market for the single-motor Premium model, each including VAT, and each applying only to the market named:

• €52,990 including VAT in the Netherlands
• 579,000 SEK including VAT in Sweden
• 539,900 NOK including VAT in Norway

Zeekr also attached launch-only equipment to the opening order window: Long Range rear-wheel-drive models with the Cockpit Package as standard and a free upgrade to 20-inch wheels, and Performance all-wheel-drive models with the Comfort and Cockpit Packages as standard.

The range figure that is not yet homologated

The number Zeekr quoted for the single-motor Long Range model is 'around 615km', and the release itself flags it as subject to WLTP homologation. That means it is a manufacturer's expectation, not a certified consumption or range figure under the WLTP test cycle, and it should be read as provisional until the homologated value is published.

The Performance all-wheel-drive model is described by Zeekr as capable of 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds. That is the manufacturer's own acceleration claim from the launch document, not an independently timed figure.

Batteries and charging, as the release describes them

The 7X uses an 800V electrical architecture that Zeekr says is capable of up to 480kW DC. The charging times quoted are tied to a 360kW charger: 10-80% takes as little as 13 minutes for the Premium model and 16 minutes for the Long Range and Performance models. A 22kW on-board AC charger is standard, with Zeekr quoting 10-100% in 4.0 hours for the Premium model and 5.1 hours for the Long Range and Performance models on a 22kW home wallbox.

The battery chemistry differs by trim, according to the release: Premium models use a 75kWh pack with LFP cells, while Long Range and Performance models carry 100kWh packs with NMC cells, which Zeekr says were chosen for their greater energy density.

Warranty terms for these markets

Zeekr's release sets out a 5+5 year warranty for all models including the 7X. The structure, as the manufacturer describes it:

• Cover for the first five years or 100,000km
• Extendable by up to a further five years, to an overall total of 200,000km, when scheduled servicing is carried out in the Zeekr Service network
• A high voltage battery warranty of eight years or 200,000km, whichever comes first

Zeekr describes the 7X as designed and developed at its Gothenburg design and technology center and built on the same SEA modular architecture as the 001 and X. The release lists a length of 4,787mm, a height of 1,650mm, a 2,900mm wheelbase, a 539-litre luggage compartment at the rear and up to 66 litres at the front. The brand is part of Geely Holding Group and says it has delivered more than 400,000 vehicles since deliveries began in October 2021. Zeekr's Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, Lothar Schupet, is quoted in the release describing the 7X as the brand's third electric vehicle for the European market; that is a company statement, not our assessment.

To verify: find the homologated WLTP range and consumption for the Long Range model on the official Dutch, Swedish or Norwegian type-approval or vehicle-label databases rather than in marketing material, since the 'around 615km' figure is expressly not homologated; confirm the current price and equipment on Zeekr's national configurator for the market you are in, because launch pricing and launch-only packages change; and read the warranty booklet delivered with the car for the exact 5+5 year and battery terms, which the release summarizes only in outline.
