This site carries no trackers, no analytics and no advertising, and it loads nothing from third-party servers.

What the site does not do

• No analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts of any kind.
• No cookies are set for reading the site.
• No fonts, images or other resources are loaded from other servers; everything is served from this domain.
• Where a material carries a video, the page shows a still picture stored here. The player is only requested from YouTube (on its no-cookie domain) if you open it yourself; until then nothing on the page touches YouTube. Opening it lets YouTube see that request, under YouTube's own policy.
• No profiles are built, and nothing about a reader is shared with anyone.

What the site does store

If you write through the contact form, the name, email address and text you send are stored on this publication's server so that the editors can read and answer them. They are used for nothing else and are not passed to third parties. Ask through the same form and your message will be deleted.

The web server keeps ordinary request logs (address, time, page, referrer, browser string) for a short period to keep the site running and to diagnose faults. They are not used to identify readers and are not combined with anything else.
