How it works
XPENG P7+ makes its European debut at the Brussels Motor Show: 25 markets, April 2026 deliveries, Graz production and a €43,990 starting price
XPENG unveiled the P7+ fastback for European audiences at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show on 9 January 2026. The company says deliveries begin in April 2026 across 25 European markets, that the car is assembled at Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, and that a reference starting price is €43,990 for the RWD Standard Range in Spain, Portugal and Italy. Battery, charging, dimension and delivery figures below are manufacturer claims; no test cycle is named in the release for the battery and charging figures.

XPENG presented the P7+ to European audiences at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show on 9 January 2026, announcing European deliveries from April 2026 across 25 markets. The Chinese manufacturer describes the car as an AI-defined fastback built on its Turing chip architecture, which it credits with up to 750 tera operations per second (TOPS) of AI computing power.
The launch sits inside a broader European build-out. XPENG says it delivered over 429,445 vehicles globally in 2025, of which 22,787 were delivered in Europe — a figure the company puts at 126% year-on-year growth — and that it is now active in 26 European countries. These are the company's own delivery figures, not independently verified volumes.
Where it is built, and what it costs
XPENG states that pilot production of the P7+ has been completed at Magna Steyr's facility in Graz, Austria, its first local manufacturing partner in Europe. By the company's own count, the P7+ is the third XPENG model produced and assembled in Europe, after the New G6 and New G9.
On price, the release names a starting figure of €43,990 for the RWD Standard Range in Spain, Portugal and Italy, and labels it as provided for reference only. XPENG says prices will differ depending on local taxes and regulations, so buyers in the other 22 launch markets should expect different numbers. The release does not state prices for any other market or trim.
The 25 launch markets named in the release are:
- Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece
- Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland
- Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg
- Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia
- Croatia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
Battery, charging and dimensions — as claimed
The release describes an 800V lithium iron phosphate (LFP) 5C battery platform in 61.7 kWh and 74.9 kWh configurations, with charging from 10% to 80% in as little as 12 minutes when connected to compatible high-power chargers. Selected variants are said to support up to 446 kW DC fast charging, with an 11 kW three-phase AC charger standard. The release names no test cycle for these battery and charging figures, so they should be read as manufacturer claims; real-world charging speeds depend on the charger, temperature and battery state.
On size, XPENG lists the P7+ at 5,071 mm long, 1,937 mm wide and 1,512 mm high, on a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Luggage capacity (boot space, in British usage) is given as 573 liters, expandable to 1,931 liters with the rear seats folded. As with the charging figures, these are the manufacturer's stated dimensions rather than measurements of ours.
What the car carries, according to XPENG
The release credits the Turing AI chip architecture with enabling advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and says continuous over-the-air updates will add features through the vehicle's lifecycle. Inside, it lists a 15.6-inch central display, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a W-HUD head-up display and an AI-driven interactive system. On structure, it cites a 2,000 MPa ultra-high-strength safety cage, multi-layer battery protection and 14 active safety systems. Suspension is described as front double-wishbone and rear five-link.
Two caveats worth keeping in mind. First, every technical claim above — computing power, charging times, safety systems — comes from XPENG's own press materials and has not been verified against independent measurement; this article holds no driving impression and no reliability verdict. Second, XPENG says additional models are planned to follow in Europe and quotes executives on accelerating product rollout in 2026, but the release names no specific future models or dates beyond the P7+ itself.
How to check the result yourself: read XPENG's press release on its own newsroom page, dated Brussels, 9 January 2026, and cross-check the market list and price wording against the configurator or price pages for your own country once live, since the €43,990 figure applies only to the RWD Standard Range in Spain, Portugal and Italy and is stated for reference only. For battery and charging performance, look for a homologated figure with a named test cycle in official type-approval or specification documents before treating the 12-minute claim as settled; XPENG's release names no cycle for it.
